Adya products reduce 99% of Giardia Lamblia, a protozoan parasite that lives and reproduces in the intestine of infected humans or animals, causing the diarrheal disease known as giardiasis; and reduce 97.1% of Cryptosporidium (Crypto), a protozoan parasite that causes the diarrheal disease known as cryptosporidiosis. Both Giardia and Cyrpto are very tolerant to chlorine, as their outer shell allows them to survive outside the body for long time periods. Giardia and Crypto are generally spread through water.
